DONORS (Friends of Sumedha)


There are many socially committed individuals and organizations who feel concerned about the plight of talented children from poor families but do not know their locations, and are unable to provide a helping hand. Sumedha wishes to become a bridge between the donors and the talented students from poor families. We, at Sumedha maintain a list of students from poor families who require financial assistance to continue their education. It provides the donors information about the name, address and academic performance of the assisted student at the end of the year. Details about the donor are also shared with the student assisted.

Sumedha has a live register of polential donors who are willing to provide a minimum assistance of Rs. 1000/- or more per year to a needy student

Corporate Partners:
Sumedha also looks toward to forging partnership with corporate houses under CSR activity. Sumedha has partnership with Trusts who have similar goal and provide assistance to poor students.

 

Income Tax Exemption:
All donations received by Sumedha are exempted under section 80G of under the Income Tax Act 1961. Sumedha provides a certificate of the same to every donor for claiming rebate.

FCRA:
Sumedha is also registered under the FCRA 2010 and is eligible to receive foreign remittances to provide assistance to poor talented students.
